What guarantees do you provide?

All of our workmanship has our exclusive unconditional guarantee for 10.5 years (the longest guarantee in the industry) Of course, all licenced trades and products have their own specific guarantees. Our customer relationships are lifelong and are important to us, so we will help as much as we can, even if the warranty is finished.

Will someone guide me through the process?

Yes of course, your designer and our team will guide you through till the completion of the project, and you will also have a dedicated site foreman to oversee and look after the whole renovation process.

How long does a renovation process take?

This depends on the complexity of the renovation. Once we have completed the proposed layout and scope of works for your project, we will know the duration so you know exactly how long it will take. As a general guide, a bathroom renovation takes 3-4 weeks before you can use the room and 90% of the bathroom will be complete. It’s usually an extra 2 weeks for custom shower screens to be made and installed. So we will install a temporary screen so it’s still functional while you wait for the shower screen to be installed and bathroom to be 100% complete.

Can I remain in my home during the renovation?

Yes, you can, only the bathroom will be out of action during the renovation. If you have more than one bathroom we can renovate one at a time so that your bathroom is still usable. There will be short interruptions to power and water. But we try to keep interruptions do your daily life down to minimum, making the renovation process enjoyable. If you have only one bathroom in your home it can be a little tricky. But temporary bathrooms are available in most areas for hire and we can recommend something. Our clients often stay off site in these circumstances.

Do you organise all the tradespeople?

Yes, all the trades are organised by us and most have been working together as a team for many years. Your designer, site foreman, and project management team will be doing all the organising for you. So you can just sit back, relax, and enjoy the process.

How will we select our bathroom products?

Our process is simple and efficient. We do not sell products, but we will offer qualified and independent advice from the comfort and convenience of your own home. We will research the best products and provide all the necessary information to assist you to make informed decisions. There will also be a consultation with your designer, for colors and finishes, done in home or a tileshop of your choice.

What kind of finshes can I choose from?

We do not sell any products or have any affiliations with product companies. So you can choose any products or finishes, from anywhere, so long as it is compliant to Australian codes and regulations. A large percentage of our award winning projects are for innovative design, custom made, and a unique use of products. Our designers often attend design conferences internationally, so we are up to date with the best products available, both internationally and locally.

Do I need council approval to renovate my bathroom?

In Victoria a building permit is required if : The renovation includes structural modification. You have changed the use of an area to a wet area ( Adding bathroom where there was not an existing bathroom)

If I alter a window or a door is a building permit needed?

Most do yes, but not all window or door alterations are deemed to be structural and usually needs a site visit to be sure. Your designer or registered building practitioner will be able to advise.

Can I buy the fixtures and fittings and you do the work for my bathroom renovation?

Yes, you can, however the challenges come if there is a warranty issue. It becomes your responsibility to deal with the issues as they arrive, post when we finish our work. When you work through us, our total solution approach takes into consideration all those elements, making sure you are looked after long after the job is completed.

Do I need to organise a bin to take the rubbish away?

No. Included in our quote is an allocation for a site bin, so no rubbish or waste is left behind.

How will you keep my house tidy during the renovation?

Cleanliness of your home while construction goes on is important for our productivity, and yours and our safety. We ensure that we clean up as we go along to ensure the work environment is safe for our team and safe your family.
